The Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC) is a curriculum designed to respond to a need for regional universal education. It will provide certification for students leaving school, regardless of whether they attain certification at the CXC level in the various subjects. The Deighton Griffith School is pursuing the CCSLC programme in the 1st and 2nd years, aiming to have students sit the examination at the end of their 2nd year. This allows them to go on to commence their CXC programme in the 3rd Year.

The Barbadian model for CCSLC requires students to complete the programme in English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, as well as to complete 30 hours of extra-curricular or service activity. Information on the various syllabii can be found below.
